  • The American Library Association The American Library Association provides leadership for the development, promotion, and improvement of library and information services.
  • American Theological Library Association Open to any person who is engaged in professional library or bibliographic work in theological or religious fields, or who has an interest in the literature of religion, theological librarianship, and the purposes and work of the association.
  • Association of American University Presses A cooperative, non-profit organization of university presses.
  • Association of Research Libraries ARL is a not-for-profit membership organization comprising the libraries of North American research institutions and operates as a forum for the exchange of ideas and as an agent for collective action.
  • Author's Guild The Authors Guild, the nation's largest society of published authors, is an advocate for fair compensation, free speech, and copyright protection, and has for 80 years published a respected quarterly bulletin. Site includes contract advice, a legal search, and various guild publications.
