Ally McBeal

Ally McBealTelevision's current "it" attorney, Ally is a Boston lawyer with a propensity for wearing short skirts and dating the wrong guy. Creator David E. Kelly, a former Boston attorney himself, has populated the show's law firm with, among others, founding partner Richard "bygones" Fish, nosey secretary Elaine Vassal, eccentric litigator John "the biscuit" Cage, Ally's former flame Billy, and his wife Georgia.

JagDavid James Elliot plays Navy Lieutenant Commander Harmon "Harm" Rabb a member of the office of the Judge Advocate General. Harm is assisted by Marine JAG Major Sarah MacKenzie each week as they investigate crimes in the United States military.

Judge Judy

Judge JudyJudge Judy Sheindlin, a tough talking former New York Family Court Judge, arbitrates real cases in this half hour syndicated series. Known for her speedy decision making, the Judge does not suffer fools gladly and is well known for dressing down the people who come before her.

Law & Order

Law & OrderEach week New York City police detectives Lennie Briscoe and Edward Jordan, played by Jerry Orbach and Jesse Martin respectively, investigate crimes, often straight from recent news headlines, and haul in the perpetrators to be prosecuted by assistant district attorneys Jack McCoy, played by Sam Waterston, andAbbie Carmichael played by new cast member Angie Harmon.
