Known for her speedy decision making, the Judge does not suffer fools gladly and is well known for dressing down the people who come before her. |  Each week New York City police detectives Lennie Briscoe and Edward Jordan, played by Jerry Orbach and Jesse Martin respectively, investigate crimes, often straight from recent news headlines, and haul in the perpetrators to be prosecuted by assistant district attorneys Jack McCoy, played by Sam Waterston, andAbbie Carmichael played by new cast member Angie Harmon. |
